BOOKING AND PAYMENT:

PLEASE NOTE: WE CAN ONLY ACCEPT CHEQUES DRAWN FROM UK OR ISLE OF MAN BANKS IN GBP. ALL CHEQUES MUST BE CLEARED IN BANK 14 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL (EXCEPT FOR RACE MEETINGS WHICH ARE AS SHOWN BELOW.)

A deposit of 25% or the equivalent to one nights stay (Which ever greater.) is required at time of booking to guarantee a reservation. The balance is payable either one week before arrival through Paypal or bank transfer or by cash only on arrival, sorry we CANNOT accept credit or debit card payments on arrival.

TT (and other race weeks) terms and conditions

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. We require full payment 10 weeks before the date of arrival; for cancellations after 10 weeks prior to arrival, the deposit is non-refundable and you may be charged for the full amount owing if we are unable to re-let the rooms.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Twenty-eight days notice of cancellation is required for refund. A £10 cancellation fee applies. Please note we are a small business and rely mostly on forward bookings, so cancellations can have a significant impact on us. If a cancellation occurs within 28 days of arrival the deposit will not be refunded. We strongly advise that you have travel insurance to cover you if you need to cancel.

CHECK IN / OUT:

Check in is between 12.00 and 13.00 or after 17.00 and we ask that guests vacate their rooms by 10.00 am on day of departure. Please contact us if you would like to check in earlier or later than these times and we will try to accommodate your requirements.

On check in we will need full names and addresses of all guests if not already supplied

SMOKING POLICY:

Smoking is only permitted in the garden to the rear of the House but inside is completely  non-smoking. Any charges resulting from deodorizing the property or other smoke-related maintenance shall be the financial responsibility of the occupant of said room; this includes but is not limited to false alarms with the Fire and Police service and lost revenue.

DAMAGES POLICY:

Damage to hotel property– We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage, caused by the deliberate, negligent or reckless act of the guest to the hotel’s property or structure. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge and will send an invoice for the amount to the registered address. We will however make every effort to rectify any damage internally prior to contracting specialists to make the repairs, and therefore will make every effort to keep any costs that the guest would incur to a minimum.

Removal of Hill House property.

We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of replacing any items that are removed from the premises by them without consent. The charge will be the full replacement amount of the missing item, including any carriage charges.

PETS:

Sorry we can not accept visitors’ dogs however there are times when we would consider service dogs.

CHILDREN:

Sorry, we do not have facilities for children under the age of 14 years. Over 14’s are welcome accompanied by parents but will be charged as an adult and will have to fit our accommodation of two persons per room as we cannot provide extra beds.

Whilst we will make every effort to accommodate groups we do not accept Stag or Hen parties.

Maximum occupancy per room is two people.
